We are pleased to announce the inaugural ‘ACE Millennials Mentoring Program!’ This program is in strong alignment to our vision and goals and is well placed within the current climate where career development opportunities are highly restricted.

To quote the program’s description:

“The ACE is an inter-University and cross-Disciplinary digital mentoring program that runs from May – July and is a fascinating blend of mentoring relationship and personal development. University students (Mentees) are introduced to Industry professionals (Mentors) to seek career and personal development advice and support through digital channels.”

Regaring our I-LEAD programs, we would like to express a timely reminder that the applications have all re-opened as per our last update. Consider applying to one of our global immersion program if you are interested in developing your personal and professional capabilities. Following our previous update, it seems clear that the health situation surrounding COVID-19 may last up to 6 months. This evidently will have a direct impact on our Global I-LEAD Programs. 

Of most pressing concern is the I-LEAD Europe immersion, set to run from the 24th of May – 2nd June 2020. The E-LEAD team has made a collective decision to POSTPONE this immersion to a future date – likely in September or December. These future dates are tentative and dependant on the Australian and Global Health Context. All confirmed delegates have been contacted regarding this arrangement.

The I-LEAD UK and Switzerland Programs, scheduled for July 2020 also appear to be unlikely to run at this stage. A final call on these program will be made at the conclusion of April. All applicant have been informed of this decision.

The E-LEAD Team has also decided to re-open all applications to our I-LEAD programs. This decision was reached after an extensive discussion which concluded that potential applicants should still be able to have access to the application process, even-though interviews will not likely be conducted for the next 2-3 months. In applying through www.e-lead.com.au/apply, applicants will receive a confirmation email and will receive information regarding an interview at a later stage.

As global concern about the current COVID-19 outbreak grows, we are closely monitoring the situation and its direct effect on our I-LEAD Global Immersion Programs.

Our team has had extensive discussions regarding the viability of our 2020 July Programs. At this stage, due to the rapid and deteriorating developments of the situation, we will likely be postponing all July immersions. Dependant on the global progression of the outbreak, these programs will likely occur in September or the December/January period as an alternative.

E-LEAD has also taken the decision to undertake an indefinite halt to our application processes – effective immediately. This means we will not be running scheduled interviews and we will not be sending offer letters to successful candidates who have been previously interviewed.

These decisions were not taken lightly, however, the health and wellbeing of our delegates is always our highest priority. We would never proceed with anything contrary to the best advice provided by the Australian and Global Health Authorities. In following, we also highly recommend you follow the health and travel advice of these relevant authorities.

If there any developments to our July Programs or our application processes, we will update you accordingly.
