Allan is an expert in organisational development, talent management and leadership. He consults with business leaders to improve employee performance by increasing engagement, improving employee selection and succession planning, and developing leaders. He also conducts senior executive coaching engagements to improve leadership performance.

Before joining Gallup, Allan served as Global Head of Business Change and as Global Head of Organisational Development and Talent for Reuters in London. He began his business career as a senior consultant at a global management firm PwC in Sydney and London. He also managed a successful youth hostel while living in Brazil and worked in medical research for a number of years as a Biochemist at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

Allan received a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Honours) from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
